THoughts on Hydrofin

I came across an infomercial for Hydrofin today, but the details were a bit vague, claims of improved boat performance, no pricing and testimonials only from the company owner and their engineering partner . The only data provided shows a test boat gaining speed and fuel efficiency, but without context on the prop or full performance curve. The hardware looks high quality, and the designers are reputable, but foils can be tricky with pitch control and mounting them on thin, aging metal could be risky. Overall, i'm still skeptical based on what i've seen and curious if anyone has more experience or insight.

Your skepticism makes sense. Honestly, those kinds of ads usually leave out the hard numbers. If Hydrofin really delivered what they claim, we'd be hearing about it from actual boaters and not just the folks selling it.
