I just had the shifter cable replaced on my 2016 pontoon, and at first it is working great. But once things warm up, it acts up. Like sometimes it drops into neutral at idle, other times it won't go into neutral no matter how hard I push. Do you think it's a low fluid issue or maybe something needs calibrating? thanks everyone

It sounds less like a low fluid issue and more like an adjustment or even a binding problem within the new cable or linkage as things expand with heat.
I'd lean towards checking the cable adjustments again once the engine is warm.
Also check even the possibility of the new cable being routed in a way that causes it to bind when hot.
Calibration isn't usually a factor with mechanical shifters like that.

yeah, it sounds very much like a fine tuning issue with the new shifter cable adjustment, especially since it only acts up when warm
