I'm planning to upgrade the seat pedestal of my 2017 South Bay Sport CR. I've removed all rivets of the underdeck panel but it won't budge. Anyone else knows what I can do? I was thinking this is a simple DIY.. I'd appreciate your help!
I think sometimes those panels are stuck with adhesive or sealant, you can try gently prying with a plastic trim tool or using a heat gun to soften the glue, it's usually DIY-friendly and just takes patience
What's holding it might be adhesive or corrosion around the edges. Did you try gently prying with a flat bar or applying a little heat to loosen things up? and what's the panel material?
@rndy257 have you tried some gentle prying? once all rivets are out, use a wide, flat pry tool (like a trim removal tool or a thin, stiff putty knife) to slowly and gently work your way around the edges. Don't force it, or you'll bend the panel
